Default 91 GS Engine Missing

Hey whats up peoples

I currently drive an 87 Integra ls,

I have been saving up for a DA,
I found one and if it goes for what I want then I'm
going to buy it

Well, here is what the guy says

"Now for the engine. There is a mechanical issue I must note. The car misses, so I took it to the shop. My mechanic installed new plugs, and a new distributor. He also checked the compression on the cylinders, which showed to be good. The head gasket is also good. The antifreeze is good and the oil is clean. Well, after this, it still continued to miss. I was told this car could possibly have a vacuum leak. It sounds like there is a release of air or something of that nature...This car does not leak any fluids of any kind. The engine does NOT knock or ping. I did not have it looked at any further. It might be something minor. I am not aware of what is wrong. I was told I could drive it the way it is for a long time and be fine. I have driven it daily since. I am not sure exactly what is wrong, but I just cannot afford to have it looked into because I don’t have any funds (I am a college student, 20 bucks is hard to make), nor do I have any time. Honestly, the car runs well just as it is even with this issue. My loss is your gain. The car starts up great, does not stall, and drives anywhere you want to go. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. You may drive the car reliably to any location when you purchase it."

So, What else could be the problem?

Here are two pics of the car,

Which Is a big upgrade from this

I am really exited as I know this car should belong to me

Thanks, Later

A vacuum leak would not cause the motor to "miss". It would only cause an eratic idle most of the time. I would check the spark plugs, fuel filter, catylitic convterter to see if its plugged.

How? I work hard and hate to spend money...
So much that I went on vacation and didnt bring anything back for people
I took 250 to spend on vacation and only spent 100

I currently have two jobs becuase its summer
I also clean pools, and I'm also tarting a new job in like, 14 hours

I have like 2g for this car, and then I can get another 1.5 for boost and 1 for th swap

My parents dont buy me anything, I work hard and long for my stuff

99ls had a problem w/ his car like that.. it was his spark plug wires (oddly enough), we took em off his car and put them on my car, and did the same thing. There was a set of vitek wires on a 240sx I was working on for my old boss, and it started to come apart, which also caused that problem.. It may be something as simple as that (hopefully).

Nice,
And I'm sure a GSR swap would cost more than a 1K B18a/b swap

Piece of advice. Whatever you think your going to need money wise to do your swap and turbo, make sure you have about double that before you begin. ESP if your buying a car that isnt exactly in the best shape. GL w/the buy.

i would buy it. most likely there is something they over looked. bad ground or replaced a bad plug wire with crappy wires.

If you plan on swapping it out anyway, who cares about the damn motor?
