Default 2 questions...

Hey I got two quick questions

1. With a non v-tech, like a b18b, can you run higher compression on a turbo compared to a v-tech engine?

2. Are integras obd1 or obd2?

1. Theres a on going debate to either run high compression or low compression when turbo.

Lets say you want to make 300whp:
Higher Compression requires LESS boost to make that 300whp.

Lower Compressions require MORE boost to make that same 300whp.

Your choice....

2. Integras are both OBD1 and OBD2 dependin on what year they are.

yeah but with higher compression, with less boost, if you wanted to up the boost, it'd be to hard on your engine. if ur goin to run stock internals, 6-9lbs is good for ur engine. anything above that is going to require a built bottom end.

most people try to run low compression on there engines so they can have the freedom of uping or lowering the boost on there car's. me personally, i'd go with lower compression.

isnt it 90-93 odb0 94-97 odb1 and 98+ is odb2?

vtec not v-tech brotha man. people are now going to post pictures of the v-tech phone's, and link's to http://www.bestbuy.com http://www.circuitcity.com http://www.vtech.com so good luck (hehe, already did ^^^)

either go look on ebay for a good flame suite, or just watch the whole v-tech/vtec thing k?

I dont wanna get into debate about this but, just wanted to point out that, theres really no point in running lower compression and boosting higher if the same can be achieved by staying with your compression and just lowering the boost.

Sure you can boost higher, but boost doesn't mean horsepower. Just remember that.

im pretty sure 96 started obd2

96 + is obd2

not sure when they stopped obd0 95 and below till the end of obd0 is obd1

alot of people convert their obd2 cars to obd1 its not that difficult to do.

Yes this is the correct answer... 1996 is the first year for obd2. This is the same with all Honda's.

why dont you run high compression and high boost at the same time. run like 12.0.1 pistions and 12 pounds. be fast as hell. just geta block guard and get a thicker head gasket, 880cc injectors and fuel pump and get it tunned with hondata. that is what is in my car right now.
