170k miles check up.
ok, I have said that i was getting a 94 GSR soon and it comes with 170k.
what kind of maintenance should I do?
like change the tranny fluid, bleed the brakes... and other stuff

does the price seem reasonable?
what do you guys think? YES, I will change it back to the stock tailights

I would ask him to lower to at least $5000 flat. I bought my 94 GSR for 5grand with 144k miles totally stock. Maintenace things to do: change oil with new filter, new plugs, new wires, new dist. cap and rotor, new fuel filter, new air filter, new timing belt (if it hasn't been changed from the beginning). That's all I can think of for now. Good luck with the purchase!
The miles are a little high for a '95, i'd low ball em, there are others out there. Besides the maintenance items like belts and fluid changes, at that mileage other things are probably going to be on the verge of needing replacement like ball joints, tie rod ends, struts, alllll the hoses, radiator, the list goes on, yeah it's a Honda but still...
i got my 94 gsr with 187000 miles on it for 3600, then i sold the 17" rims that were on it for 300 so i paid 3300 for mine
it even has aem intake, dc headers and magnaflow exhaust
lowball them and go there with cash in hand, flashing the cash always seems to work
as for maintanence, i plan on replacing spark plugs, dist cap, new plug wires, timing belt, alt, power steering and ac belts and water pump
if you can do any work yourself it should be no more then 200 dollars to get it back in good running condition

Personally I wouldnt even bother...the car is already been messed with. you dont want sloppy seconds, you know the owner beat on it. Look for a stock car w/ fewer miles. Just be patient and keep looking...good luck
