I have a 2001 Acura Integra LS that just flashed me with a Code 8 CEL, mods are B20/Vtec stock internals, i have a OBD1 Chipped p06 on a jumper harness. JDM B20B block and B16 head, i know the JDM Motors dont have a TDC sensor on them and the Dizzy doesnt have one either so i am stumped on why i am getting this code and how can i get rid of it?? cant pop v with the CEL light on. Dizzy is working fine and switched with another ECU and still had the code.

Did you switch the dizzy?

 

Dizzy is new and no I haven't

 

Doesn't hurt to try. Check your wiring as well.

where did you get this info from? honda manual?

 

Why does your distributor not have a TDC sensor, you are using a P06 ECU/ECM found in USDM 92-95 OBD1 Honda Civics, that is looking for TDC, or am I missing something? 94
