Default Oil feed and return lines

Would I face any possible complications if the drain line to my oil pan is the same ID as the feed line from the block?

Because of close proximity to my manifold, I am worried about the socketless -AN line failing and want to replace it with hard line, but the hard line that has the same size connectors as my socketless hose is 1/4" IF, the same as the feed line.

Yes. You will blow your oil seals out.

You must use at least a 5/8" return line.
