Jesus Reyes' Honda S2000 with a Ford badge

Dive into the details of Jesus Reyes’s modded S2000, known for its powerful upgrades and playful Ford badge twist.

When it comes to car mods, Jesus Reyes has taken the game to a whole new level. This thing is wicked clean with an immaculate engine bay, sumptuous body kit, and a turbo you can see from the passenger window of a Delta flight. But that’s not all there is to this 2001 “Ford” S2000.

You read that right, a Ford S2K, or at least that’s what the front emblem would have you believe. You might assume there’s a Ford Barra engine under where the hood is supposed to be, but you’d be off on that point too.

So what’s Ford about it? The emblem. It has a Ford emblem. That is all.

Why?

“Just to mess with people lol,”  Reyes said.

Jesus Reyes' Honda S2000

Starting with the heart, this S2000 underwent a major transplant, swapping its original 2.0L engine for a beefier Ap2 F22 2.2L. But why stop there?  Reyes cranked the dial up to 450whp with a Paxton Novi 1000 Procharger, all while keeping it cool under pressure with a suite of Full Blown Motorsports upgrades and a meticulously tucked and shaved engine bay that’s so clean, we don’t really have a clever phrase to describe it. It just looks fantastic.

At the moment, Reyes has the side fenders removed, giving it a raw, open-wheel racer vibe. Regardless, it’s still pretty sick looking.

The performance mods list reads like a tuner’s dream: custom supercharger pulley, Invidia test pipe, ID1000 injectors, and a Walbro fuel pump, just to scratch the surface. This S2K isn’t just built for speed; it’s sculpted for it, with every detail meticulously planned and executed.

Inside, it’s all about the details with Password JDM airbag delete, Braum Racing Seats, and an NRG steering wheel setup. Custom red “S2K” floor mats and an Ap2 red interior theme tie it all together.

Externally, this Honda turns heads with its full custom Candy Gold Paint Job, accentuated by Industry Garage Flares and a JDP Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser. The custom Acura TLX jeweled headlights with sequential LED not only set this S2000 apart but also light the way to victory at car shows and competitions, including the 2017 SEMA TBG Champion title.

Rolling on staggered Rotiform VDA Wheels and sitting low on Air Lift 3P Air Suspension, this S2000 combines the stance culture with genuine track-ready performance. And with a Kicker subwoofer powered by a Kenwood amp, it sounds as fierce as it looks.

This build, a collaboration with RB’s Adrenaline Factory, XM Automotive, MPC Motorsports, and more, is not just a testament to what’s possible with hard work and vision; it’s a beacon of creativity in the car community.

From its powerhouse performance to the cheeky Ford badge, it’s a reminder that in the world of car mods, the only limit is your imagination (and maybe your budget).

In conclusion, Reyes’s Honda S2000 is more than just a car; it’s a statement. It stands out with its high performance, meticulous design, and, most importantly, a sense of humor. So, if you ever catch a glimpse of a golden S2000 on the street, sporting a Ford badge and leaving bystanders in bewildered awe, tip your hat to the mastermind behind this build.
