Honda Accord ‘Wicked Wagon’ SEMA Survivor Surfaces for Sale Once Again

Wicked Wagon SEMA Honda Accord

This SEMA build called Wicked Wagon isn’t for everyone, but it’s still around after changing hands several times.

The fate of SEMA show cars is a mixed bag. Some wind up being kept by the folks that build them, living the life of a rolling billboard. Others are immediately sold privately to recoup some of the investment in building them. But this obscure SEMA build from many moons ago – a Honda Accord wagon dubbed the “Wicked Wagon” – has seemingly changed hands multiple times, and is now up for sale once again at Duncan Imports and Classics.

The last time we saw the Wicked Wagon, it was on the block at Mecum’s 2017 Kansas City auction, where it drew a whopping maximum bid of $5,000. Clearly, the market for Accord woodies wasn’t terribly strong back then. Now, the asking price for this strange but interesting family hauler is just shy of $30k, which, well, may or may not be worth it, depending on your own personal taste.

Quite a bit of work and money went into building the Wicked Wagon, that much is for certain. The exterior has been heavily modified and completely shaved to remove all the exterior badges, door handles, and other things that might get in the way. The amber lenses were ditched in favor of clear ones, and there are custom grilles up front as well.

The most obvious modification, however, is that fake wood trim that adorns a large portion of the Accord’s flanks. And honestly, this classic American treatment doesn’t look terrible on the more modern Honda, though it’s also a trend that obviously never caught on. The look is capped off with a set of billet wheels and a rather beachy blue paint job.

Inside, the wagon continues its classic American hot rod theme with a number of painted surfaces contrasted with tan upholstery, a billet steering wheel, and even bucket seats for the rear passengers. Much of the cargo area has been filled up with a thumping stereo. As far as power goes, this “wicked” machine still packs its original 2.2-liter four-cylinder with a few modest mods we can see, but the engine bay has been cleaned up considerably and the block was even painted to match.

The real question is, do all of these modifications make this Accord wagon appealing to at least one person out there in the world? Clearly, at least a couple of people liked it enough to buy it in the past, but we imagine that the current seller might be sitting on this former SEMA oddity for a while.
