Honda is ‘Winningest Brand’ in 2019 Edmunds Editor’s Choice Awards
Edmunds named the 2019 Honda Accord as ‘Best Sedan’ and the CR-V as ‘Best SUV’ in their inaugural 2019 Editors’ Choice Awards.
Honda has snagged another string of awards for it’s new and revised 2019 product line-up. The brand says that this win continues to validate the quality and strength of Honda’s passenger car and light truck lineup. With wins in two of the most important categories, Honda is the winningest brand for the new Edmunds awards.
These two iconic nameplates from Honda’s broad vehicle portfolio were critical in making Honda the top retail-selling passenger car brand in 20181 and with posting its best-ever annual sales of light trucks last year. Of the Best Sedan winner, Alistair Weaver, Edmunds editor-in-chief, said, “The Honda Accord personifies the term ‘best in class’ and hits all the right marks – not just for a mid-size sedan. The winners of the seven Edmunds Editors’ Choice Award are chosen from the hundreds of vehicles the editors review each year based on how they rank in more than 30 criteria across the five evaluation categories of Driving/Performance, Comfort, Interior, Utility and Technology.
