Default Dyno plot: Turbo ITR, Uberdata, 9 lbs

Finally got to go to Kinetic Motorsports and get my R on the dyno to iron out my street tune. After 10 runs my a/f was at a fairly steady 11.5 to 12, and timing is set to a nice conservative 18.5* advanced at full boost.

Setup fpr those that don't know/remember/care:
Stock internals
GT25/40 turbo
tial wg/bov
kinetic motorsports cast mani
kinetic motorsports fmi and piping
kinetic motorsports custom 3" dp and exhaust
35lb injectors
walboro pump
older apexi avcr set at .65 bar
tech edge wbo2
Chiped p28 obd1 conversion
Uberdata

Made a peak of 296hp and 220tq, this car is a lot of fun to drive now. Can't wait to get it on a road course and chase down my buddy Big Phat R

ps special thanks to Shawn at Kinetic for staying late and helping me do the tune. If anyone in the Vancouver area is looking for a turbo kit Shawns work is second to none around here. His work has been featured in several tuner mags. Check him out at http://www.kineticmotorsport.com/

edit: I cant spell

pps thanks to Blake for writing Uberdata, and to the untold number of people that helped me out over at http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata/forum/index.php#1

sounds like nice usable power hopefully those stock internals hold up.

Same numbers as me, except at 10 PSI and I start at 4000 RPM.

Awesome though, it's gonna be a lot of fun on the track.

200 ft-lbs at 4000 RPM, versus your.. err.. 190 ft-lbs.

But mine keeps higher torque earlier in the RPM's, less than I thought originally though. Nevermind!

Ya, we both have dips in tq after about 4000 rpms. I wonder why that is? At 4000 I'm at 7.5psi, when my tq recovers at 5000 I'm at 9.3 lbs. Vtec is set for 5000. My a/f is right around 11.7 on the low cam. Maybe I need to add some timing?? hmmm.....

I think it's my boost controller (Profec B Spec 2), overshooting just a bit on the boost, then dropping back down and recovering. I think I tuned that out with profec settings and a bigger dumptube.

Poo - good jobber!

Did you post your map on the uberdata mirror site?

When does your turbo spool up? ~5k?

Yeah the 18G takes a lot of **** on the FI forum (or at least it did...) but it suits my needs just fine!

So, you rebuilt your motor after starting to burn oil in the fall? Is that right? Did you just replace the pistons with OEM? So, stock compression and everything?

.....I local tuner told me that the reason smaller turbo's have a hump like that is when they come on full spool. Is yours spiking at all in that region?

That looks great Dylan. Thought you were gonna go with a Benson sleeved block plus some other goodies? Nice curve anyway. For whoever said it, your right, that is some good useable power. Let's hope yer not blowing smoke out yer muffler like back at the Vancouver ITR meet in Aug. Haha.

<-----who will hopefully be using Wayne(G5) and Shawn(Kenetic) to get his R tuned in the Spring.

great numbers man. Props for the good uber tune . My turbo does that crap too. It will spike up to 10psi, then drop back down to 8 or 9 and sometimes go back up to 10

Nice numbers Dylan. I'm glad the project is finally done.

good stuff dylan!

ready for track this season?

oh, and come to my next dyno day! kinetic's dyno is great for tuning, but it reads quite a bit higher than dynojet. good to get a dynojet number for comparisons sake
