Ha! On a stock motor I wouldn't really want to make much more. Plus I like my midrange torque right where it is. I adjusted the boost controller some, it actually spools faster now than on the dyno graph.

1st gear is silly. 2nd gear is kinda silly, I lose traction sometimes at 4K, sometimes at 6K. 3rd on up is fine.

I seriously haven't had the opportunity to launch the car yet, so I don't even know how I'd do it on street tires. I do pound on it in 2nd gear and let the tires spin though. That's fun, good stress relief pulling out of work.

On autoX tires, 3rd gear should be reasonable at an HPDE, but most corners I can just stay in 4th and ride the 4000RPM torque curve.

(I haven't done an HPDE at this boost yet, just at my measly 5 PSI 210 WHP setup.)

Please post ALL of your mods please!

I'm interested in the downpipe, cat, and exhaust size you're running.

Also, you're using an EXTERNAL wastegate with the greddy kit?

How did you manage that?!

I have the same kit and am trying to do the EXACT same thing. 300whp is the goal on stock motor.

Send me your hondata map!!!

Nice numbers.... I too am now boosted with 11:1 CR. I am using custom stuff with a SC61 turbo.

<----- Wants a GT28RS turbo for fatter midrange and quicker spool times

.....not a bash, but why is the wastegate held closed and you are using an external TIAL unit? Is there an inherent deficiency in the stock internal wastegate?

Also, which greddy intercooler? What are the dimensions, if you don't mind my asking.....?

Huge props for doing this with the small *** downpipe that the turbo kit comes with!

At what rpm does full boost come on, btw?

*edit*

Why the 550cc injectors? Would you be maxing out say 450cc ones?

And what psi base fuel pressure? Would you be killing the stock fuel pump otherwise?

I couldn't hold steady boost with internal WG. It spiked hard at around 5500 RPM, even with the boost controller off. We gave up and didn't ever take it past 6000 RPM.

The large one, I think this is it.
94-99 Acura Integra GSR/LS/RS 2 row Front Mount Type 24V - fits Greddy Turbo kit only

adjusted boost controller since the dyno, now I get full boost before 4000 RPM

550 because they cost the same as 440. No harm, idle is fine.

FPR is stock (read!). Fuel pump is 190 LPH Walbro (read!). haha.

Nice numbers Chris!

Are you also running the pipsqueek sized piping that came with the kit to produce those numbers?

Yeah, no changes to the piping of the kit (charge pipes, downpipe, etc.)

Although I DID make one minor change, I cut the restrictor plate off of the intake (by the filter). Dremel > Greddy.

UPDATE hidden in an edit

My turbo sounds like total crap. I have a lot of shaft play and the exhaust turbine is hitting the housing. I plan to blow this one up while shopping for a new one.

Stand by for updates
