Default bolted a hole in the block (help please)

i bolted a hole in the block its near the oil filter so theres alot of oil pressure i want to know how i can seal the hole and should i keep the car after i do this here are some pictures

pre heat the block before it's welded. expect deck/bore/line hone after.

Kinda hard to see what that passage is, but with a decent welder you should be able to get it all plugged up, withough even tearing it down. There is enough metal there that who ever does it shouldnt heat soak the block, thus warping it. But as for "keeping the car", if you sold it that way, just let your customer know about it. But if repaired properly, it shouldn't even be mentionable.

bolt was to long just kept on tighening it

thanks guys i tapped it and put thread lock and apoxy also hope it works i want to keep this car has been great and just dumped 600 just in parts cause i wanted to keep it

Change the oil a couple of times after you tap and plug. Just in case you get any shavings in there.

might be worth some extra insurance to put some solid tack welds on that bolt just incase the thread locker doesn't hold up...so long as you used the same material for the bolt as what the block is made of
