replace clutch or whole clutch kit ?
so when i brought the car (00 integra) i notice hard shifts and clutch dosent engage until pedal is 75-85% high, now im noticing some squealing but only when i start off in first gear (not sure if clutch, but owner said it was the belt -__-). When ever the car is not in motion i engage the clutch and i hear a noise, im not sure if the noise is the throw out or clutch. I also get gear wine when driving thats not really noticiable (1-10 its a 4). The previous owner of the car says its a stage 2 ACT clutch and it feels that way based on how the car moves and how it engages. He also said he just replace the tranny (ls) last sept. I need to know what are my next steps in order to keep the car as fast as it is or faster and fix the issue. I dont know if i need just the clutch or the whole kit, but I'm hoping just the clutch so i can stay at stage 2 or go higher to get the car a little quicker or faster...
its a stock motor (LS) besides AEM intake & DC headers.
thanks in advance!!!

My car also vibrates when i start off , only when the cars warm(been driving for a while), i think its a warped flywheel. Im gonna try to get a new clutch kit and flywheel this summer

It's almost unheard of to replace just a clutch disc on Honda, normally you'd buy a complete kit (disc, pressure plate, and pilot and throwout bearing)
If it's making noise when you depress the clutch pedal (clutch disengaged) the throwout bearing is bad.
If it's making noise in neutral when you let the clutch out (clutch engaged) the input shaft bearing (or one of the other bearings) in the transmission is bad.

its making noise in neutral when the clutch is enganged & also getting a little gear wine while driving, so i basically need the clutch kit & new tranny ? or just the clutch & tranny ? would i be ok with cutting corners with just getting the clutch but not the kit ?

You're going to need to take the transmission apart and figure out which bearing or bearings are bad. As far as the clutch goes, if it's chattering a disc alone is unlikely to fix that.

Re: replace clutch or whole clutch kit ?
thanks guys, i rarely get that rough/bumpy chatter, but me taking apart a tranny is a long stretch I'm not that technical. i usually just get that slipping noise when starting in first. theres this guy selling a stage 5 competition clutch kit with light weight fly wheel, so im wondering will this fix the chatter/slipping noise? will this perform better than a stage 2 ACT clutch ? is this ok for a stock b series with just bolt ons ? is it over kill ? if so what would yall suggest in order for me to keep my car performing how it is or improve ?

Stage 5 clutch is not going to help with chatter. Once you get into a puck clutch clutch chatter is normal. A stage 5 comp clutch on a stock B-series is absolutely overkill. The Stage 2 ACT is overkill.

it wouldn't increase performance ? acceleration ? get torque/power to wheels quicker over stock or the ACT stage 2?

No, clutches don't work that way. It will hold more power before it slips, that's it. The clutch you have now is already rated to hold more power than you're making. Even a stock clutch is rated to hold a bit over what a stock engine is making.

ooo ok my apologies, i thought the higher i got the faster it will get to the wheels...now whats the difference between disc, 6puck, & 4 puck ? upgrading from a stock clutch with a stock motor isnt going to help performance ?

A full faced disc will operate like a stock clutch, you'll have a smooth engagement. A puck style clutch will generally chatter and have a harsher engagement.
It will do absolutely nothing for performance.
