why did you open your gear box?
incorrect 72mm shim thikness
or something is not at the right place

unless something is wrong on the mainshaft or you changed gears on the mainshaft, you could have jammed the shift change assembly.
I just did this myself on a B tranny, still haven't gotten it figured out. The shafts now spin and I can find some gears, but not all 6 of them.

I got that with a bent mainshaft recently.
Also, if two gears are engaged at the same time, it will lock up as well.
Make sure the case goes on easily and not with force.

Your going to have to isolate your problem. To rule out the mainshaft having any bind. Remove the differential, countshaft and forks. Install the mainshaft and close the case. Does the mainshaft still lock up? If yes...then you have a problem with your mainshaft assembly. If it spins then you move on to the countershaft and so forth. Process of elimination Give that a shot and let us know what you find!

make sure that the top ring on the casing is opened and snapped on when the casing havles are put together and if you can find some gears the shifter plate might be bent a little!

If the shaft doesn't spin, 95 times out of 100, it is incorrect assembly. No one online will be able to tell you what you did wrong. You will have to go back over everything or send it to someone who knows their stuff.
