have you resolved it yet??? does your car turn over. if not check the starter. or main relay.

I'm in the same boat. Let me know when you figure it out. I tried a new distributor and it worked....for 10 minutes then the engine cut off and wouldn't start again.

Do you have the Helm's manuel? There is a distributor components test in the electrical section that will help you localize the problem. If you don't have one email me your number and a good time to call ya and I can walk you through it. HTH

Re: CAR WONT START!!! NEED HELP!! (b18bpwr)
well this is how i spent my holiday....
when to Pick-A-Part and pulled a starter off a 88 DX. it didnt look like mine. it had the smaller solenoid on the other side. but what the hell it was only 20 buckaroonies. and my damn car runs now better a starter then a di$tributor.
happy turkey day,
charles.

I disconnected the instrument portion of the wireharness behind the instr cluster and worked just fine...'till today after I stalled the car.
