Default no start problem

Last month, I got into an accident resulting in front end damage to my Civic. Now that its all back together again, I try and start the car but it only cranks. Ive had some buddies come by to help figure it out and im thinking that we have the problem narrowed down...or at least we did.

When the hood bent from the accident it put a little crack on the distributor cap and distributor itself.

Fuses are good, battery is good but we have no spark.

And I just changed the plug wires, plugs and cap.

Let me know what you guys think. Like I said, Im pretty sure we've pinpointed the problem but just want to hear honda-tech's opinion.

It's probably just the coil inside the distributor, but you might as well buy a complete distributor from Distributor King. I personally run one in my 90 HB, and it's been great thus far.

A new coil from Honda costs $90.00 - you could easily put that towards a complete dist. From Distributor King.

Exactly, just buy a new one and you'll be golden.

It's the coil pack like B18C5 said. Happened to my D a couple of weeks ago. I have an obd1 non vtec dizzy if you want it. $40, works fine.
