Default Can bad starter cause srs codes 9-2 , 6-6 ?

On my '01 MDX, srs light is on, checked srs codes - got 9-2 and 6-6. Both seem to indicate some problem with the power/battery supply. Got a quick battery+charging system check done and it turns out the battery and alternator are in great condition but the starter is going bad. Could it be possible that the voltage drop due to drag of the starter is causing the srs to think there is a problem with supply voltage ?
Anyone ever come across anything like this before ?
