Hello there!
The CEL recently came on in my mother's '05 Pilot and while I can't recall the specific code at the moment, I can tell you that it was for the bank one 0s sensor. I bought a new one online and I was trying to replace it today, however, the old sensor seems to not want to come out. I had no trouble releasing the wire clips or any of that, I just can't seem to get enough strength back there in that small of a space to pop it loose. It's a 3.5L V6 if that information is of any extra use. Please help me figure this out! Thanks!

I meant "o2 sensor" in that first sentence...

When you get a code for a sensor it doesn't mean you replace the sensor. You may be spending money and time to solve nothing.

If you're using an O2 socket and wratchet, try a 7/8" box end wrench. With the engine cool, start it and let it idle for a minute or so. Don't get it "hot", you just want to put some heat into the exhaust manifold.

Well shucks, I sure hope I didn't spend money on them for no reason. I do know enough that if you're replacing one you might as well replace both of them so I went ahead and did the bank 2 sensor first because it was right there. I am indeed using an o2 sensor socket and wrench and I'll go ahead and try that idle thing as soon as I can and let you know what's what! I'm no novice when it comes to auto mechanics, however I would be welcome to suggestions on what that light is for if it isn't the sensors themselves.

Couldn't even guess without knowing the actual code/codes. They're pretty specific and all have troubleshooting proceedures.
