i have some knowledge on hondas and a little on DOHC but first its a stock b16a2 original engine. 137,xxx miles. i bought it used from a dealer with a brand new head with about 10,000 miles on it and it has a DC header, 2 1/4 piping all the way back to a stock tip and a cat. AEM cold air intake. i think thats it but anyway........
it is showing codes for misfire on cylinders 2 and 4 and showed 3 until i erased the codes but it will probably show again idk. random and multiple misfires. i have already changed the plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, and ignition coil.
that still didnt do anything. it has no power what so ever that it should have. it bogs down when going up a hill and i barely if not hit only 85 on the interstate so yeah.....
i need some help! its my dd and i need something to do to fix the problem and have the power it needs back. any info?

ive changed the filter and still have the same results as before. any other ideas? i know it had pressure cause i forgot to release the pressure and shot out when i loosened it the top bolt off the filter.
even when im slowly rolling in 2nd gear at about 4500 rpm and floor it....it still bogs way down and i gradually get up. slowly.....
yeah still trying to fix that but now just the other day while driving at a high rpm just around 5 grand right before vtec there was a noise that started and sounded like someone was rubbing sand paper on the engine and its horrible and loud! it doesnt do it anytime below that. but when in neutral i can rev it up past that and wont hear it. a drivetrain problem??? any help?
I have the same problem on my b16a2 it is throwing a cel light on cylinder 2 however it runs good and every once in a while it will start misfiring and I've notices when the Ac was on it would start doing it even more.with Ac off the rpms were at 1 and with it on they were at 3 idk the problem replaced my plugs and wires was told that the distributor was still good any other ideas?
