Hello. I have a problem with my passenger side not rolling up and down from both master and passenger switch.

I'm almost getting to that point to take the car to an electrician. I have a 2000 honda civic ex coupe that the passenger side window will not roll up even after all fuses have been checked.

So far this is what i have done and found:

-Direct jumped power from battery to the 2 wires coming out of window motor and the window DOES go up and down.

- I test continuity of both master and passenger side switch terminals and is ok (i hope)

can any one walk me through this? any auto electricians?

I look through you tube and searched. People seem to have different problems.

you check the drivers master switch to see if the lock out button is engaged?

Read somewhere online that Honda switches go bad.
Did you check your relay. There's tons of info here on this

I found the problem. After looking at the manual diagram I realized that there is a blue/yellow wire from master switch to passenger side switch and it has no continuity. Luckily I got a jumper wire long enough to touch both switch and I was able to work the passenger side window. Whew..I called around and they were charging$80/hr min.

Now I just got to find out where that short circuit was so I can slice the wires together. I would hate to boot legged the wire across. Thank you guys anyway. Mods, I give you permission to delete this unless thread.
