Well racinmason suggested that a sticky be created with all spring rates so that people don't have to keep asking and having others look them up. I personally am tired of reciting spring rates to everyone, and I can only imagine how racecivicman must feel so here you guys go.

First, let me start by saying that stiffer is NOT always better!

That cannot be stressed enough. A suspension that is too stiff will limit suspension travel too much. This can cause decreased tire contact with the road in turns, which means decreased traction and can be very unsafe in certain circumstances.

Second, keep in mind that the stock suspension is perfect for street comfort. If you want your car lower, but still want great comfort, grab a spring that is as close to the stock rates as possible.

Your suspension should be chosen according to your driving habits. I know a lot of you weekend ricers want the best performance for your daily driven cars, but a daily driver is just that. You don't need race spec coilovers on your grocery getter. If your car has never seen a track in its lifetime, stay close to the factory spring rate. You'll only look foolish bouncing down public road, and your *** isn't going to feel too great after an hour or so of steady driving.

Here is a list of commonly used coilovers and lowering springs and their respective spring rates. When looking at this list, please keep in mind that the factory spring rates are around 3k (165 in/lb) Front and 1.4k (80 in/lb) Rear.
