Default Koni Yellow Help

i have koni yellows with skunk 2 coil overs on them and i havent adjusted them in about a year and i went to do it last night because i am going to lower it more but... the top ring seems to be severly stuck to the actual spindle

one of my friends said maybe decompressing the shock would work so we left it hanging in the air overnight with the wheel off on jack stands

still no luck

sooo now i am asking you... what do you think the issue is?

What do you mean by "top ring", and "actual spindle"?

hmmm.. is the adjuster ring rusted to the sleeve? If so, I would spray it with pb blaster several times a day for several days, and then try it...

Your thread topic says Koni Yellow Help. You stated you havent adjusted it in a year after you stated that you have them mated w/ skunk 2 coilovers.

what confuses me is the adjustment part, are you adjusting the rebound dampening on the Koni Yellows(i would assume so since thats what the topic states) OR are you adjusting the ride height on the skunk 2's?

The rest of you post doesn't quite make sense as per what johnlear is asking.

clear it up a bit so we can understand whats going on, perhaps take some pictures and post them?

WD40 the adjuster....... if not, it sounds like it needs a rebuild.
