Default 2000 Civic EX Suspension Problem . . .

I just bought Tokico HP struts and Skunk 2 Springs for my ride and when I assemble the parts out of the car the spring is really loose on the strut. I have tightened everything on top of the strut in prep for going back on the car.

I am afraid that when I hit a bump the strut will decompress and let the spring rotate on the pirch.

My old suspension was Si Struts with Sprint Springs and they were fine. (The Spring was tight in the Strut before I put it on the car)

I ordered the parts online and I have checked the part numbers to make sure everything is okay, and it all checks out. Got any ideas??? Thanks.

Skunk springs? are you sure they are springs or coilovers?
