Default New Cheap Valve Adjustment tool :)

Well, just made a new innovative DIY for B series Heads.

This is my new tool. Costed me the price of JB weld and a new 10 mm socket. I just found some little tube kinda thing in my dads tool box and made this. Instructions are not necessary since it is so simple to make. This works 100 times better than the "bent 10mm wrench" method. Enjoy.

Is that bolt just for grip so you can turn the 10 mil nut, what kind of engine are you using this on? On B series dont you need something that looks like a bent wrench, I know on D series it's a straight shot down and you can do it with all normal tools.

Yes the bolt is to apply torque to the socket.

I just used this on my GSR head, and let me tell you, the bent wrench tool does not work very well.

A bent wrench (or something like this which is much better) is required on DOHC VTEC heads because the adjusting screws and locknuts are deep inside the cylinder head. B-series non-VTEC heads do not require a tool like this.

That's a very good way to save money. Snap-on tools makes a similar tool for about 30 bucks which I have, but you definitely did good by making your own.

I see the end of the tubing is hex shaped...you could use a socket on that and a ratchet to turn it also with out using the bolt and nut if you wanted Id imagine..

How long is the tubing that you used?
