Default Timing Belt to use 20vtec?

What size Timing Belt to use on a b20 crv vtec engien?
Does a b18c 96spec TypeR Timing belt fit? or should it be original Honda b20 timing belt? because I have doubts about the length is the same?

It depends on what water pump you're using. Non vtec (19 tooth) use a non vtec belt. LS and CRV are the same. Vtec (22 tooth) use a vtec belt. GSR and R are the same.

Okay i am runing vtec Itr pump that is 22 tooth i think. I'll check it out later today, to be sure.
Then I will probably run with original honda vtec timing belt from at 96spec itr 1.8 engien.

If you use a LS/B20 water pump then use a 90-01 LS/B20 belt.

If you use an ITR/GSR/B16 water pump then use a 94-01 GSR/ITR timing belt.

It is really that simple.
