D15B v-tec CKF problems. Please help
Ok so I have a 96 civic 4 door, auto, EX. My wife threw a rod out the oil pan of the y8 that was in it so I swapped in a cheap and easy D15b. I used all the obd2 components: intake mani, TB, injectors, etc. I got a z6 dizzy with obd2-obd1 jumper. I did the piezo transducer bypass trick for the knock sensor delete
After doing the CKF bypass trick I can seem to get rid of the ckf cel. It will clear fine, drive for about 5 min and then goes into limp mode.
My last resort, and I'm sure alot of peoples first response will be to just convert to obd1 ECU, I can get my hands on a P28 and a buddy has chrome and would chip/tune with the right P08 base map for free. but I would have to still buy the ECU.
Also I have an identical coupe running all the same exact mods and swap and has no CEL and runs like a dream. Please help me try to get this sorted out.
