Default D16z6 Squealing noise coming from crank pulley area

Car: 94 Honda Civic DX auto
Engine: d16z6

I'm having some squealing noise coming from the crank pulley area.
I removed the belts from the alternator, power steering pump and AC compressor To eliminate any of those as the cause of the problem. I did a little research and I'm going to check the keyway and the crank bolt tomorrow. I was just wondering If anyone had any other ideas to look for or had a similar problem.

Short clip of the sound

Definitely get that crank pulley off of there and check it out. Another answer might be to remove the upper timing cover and check to see if its something within the timing system.

Thanks I'll definitely check out the timing belt.

I did not change the timing belt. I owned the car the engine came out of, It ran fine when I removed it. It sat for about a year before I did the swap.

Bad tensioner or water pump pulley

sounds like the tensioner pulley is possibly bad. maybe the water pump.

I changed the timing belt, the tensioner, and the water pump. But the engine is still making the same noise as before. The water pump and tensioner that I changed out seem to be fine they both spun freely without binding.

I know that this engine ran fine before when it was in a crx but the only difference was that it had a manual trans attached. Do you think this noise could be caused by something in the automatic trans?
