ECU and wire harness help

Im looking to replace my engine wire harness and i was wondering what type of engine harness i should get and if i should replace the ecu with it i have a 90 crx si with a sohc vtec d16y5

if it was me id get the same harness as you had before, and id keep the ecu unless theres something wrong with it

If i get a new harness will it have the plug that goes into the vtec solenoid

You need the harness that matches the car. Then you modify it to fit the engine, rather than having the harness for the engine and not being able to plug it into the car.
