Default Mil spec engine wire harness

Ok guys, have some questions in regards to mil spec engine harness like Chasebay, Rywire etc. I'm currently still using the stock harness connected to the ecu. My stock ecu harness are pretty much done, to many cuts and soldered many times and some pins are not staying locked in and it keeps coming out and not getting signal from the ecu.
I'm thinking about getting one of these mil spec harness but I am not sure what else that i need to make everything work in the car. Is the mil spec harness a plug n play? I really don't know what else I need or do so i'm reaching out to u all that have these harness and hopefully be able to help me what I need. I am also thinking about just using another stock chassis/engine harness but still used and not new. Thanks in advance.
Car is 95 eg hatch turbo making around 650whp.

If you want something that is going to work right the first time, then you need to contact Joel @ RaceSpec. Hands down, best harness in the industry.

You tell him what you have and he makes it all work.

I just bought one of RaceSpec mil spec harness and it was the best money ever spent. It came with switch panel and fuse box all wired ready to go. Plug and play.

I was in the same boat with an old stock harness and wanted something afordable and reliable, I went with the Rywire budget B-series tucked harness..just specify a couple things like what injectors and what chare harness you need and it is a great aqffordable harness...or if you have the extra money id go with the mil-spec tucked harness from them.

Joel does killer work at RaceSpec. I've been building mil-spec stuff for over 10 years and he has his stuff dialed. You will pay the price though so be prepared.

Otherwise, Ryan at Rywire and I go back almost the same time as well and he builds both budget stuff to middle-grade racer to high-end stuff as well. Ryan will custom make you anything you need as well. His work is in many top SFWD and Outlaw cars.

If it is a stock harness, let me know as I stock most of his product too.

I just got my harness from Joel @ Race Spec, I can tell you I looked at every single harness maker and made the decision to go with a Race Spec sportsman's harness. Joel spent a lot of time on the phone with me to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. The quality of the harness far exceeded my expectations and Joel went above and beyond to answer all my questions and emails. I feel he is the best hands down and I am 110% happy with everything and feel it was worth every penny.

Joel @ RaceSpec did ours and it cleaned stuff up so much better. Never have to worry whether you have a wiring problem or not. We went straight from the ECU to the motor without the firewall plug to eliminate those intermediary pin connections. Saved some time and money too. It will all be shielded and will be money well spent.

Whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM CHASE-BAYS. They have to be the most over-hyped, crap harnesses I have ever seen. Owner of a car I built, purchased it without consulting me first and it ended up being the biggest nightmare of my life. 7-8 seperate issues in 1 simple harness, from reversed (incorrectly pinned) engine sensors all the way to safety issues such as the starter signal pinned directly to 12v and engaging it when ignition (accessory 1) was selected. UNBELIEVABLE.... I basically had to diagnose and re-pin the majority of the harness. Terrible quality, attention to detail and correctness.

Check out TuckTech on instagram or facebook. Jacob Buchanan is his name. He has made me a full plug and play dual fuel pump harness on my car and also my current fuel setup plug and play with a Magnafuel pump. Very clean and detailed. Also currently making a full bay harness for my car also. Running a haltech platinum sport 1000
