I am currently running a turbo Del Sol with the Hondata coil-on-plug conversion. Car was running just fine with it for sometime as normal driving and with WOT.

Yesterday during normal driving my car began to what seemed like misfires. I glanced at my wideband and observed 10.0-11.5 AFR and then the car shut off. This all happened with no codes coming on at first. I tried to key the car on and it didn't sound like it was firing at all but then when I let go of the key the car back fires. I mean like ignition cut doesn't even come close to the ka-boom that came out of it. I had to tow the car home after that.

Today I check all the wiring for coil-on-plug, grounds and even pulled the main and back up fuse under the hood for the ECU to turn it over to disprove any mechanical faults (i.e. belt valves). After trying to key the car a few times the only code that came up was a code 15.

I am fresh out of ideas and am hoping someone may be able to provide some more ideas or if someone had the same problem with the COP kit from Hondata...
