Re: Gauge Cluster backlight problem, help!
I have it all working now. That common ground wire that hooks up under the dash was the solution. I had it all working, but in the last day or two, the high beam light hasn't been coming on, which is no bueno since i have HIDs.
I've had HIDs for 4 months on this car now, and i've never had a problem. Even since the dashlight fix a few days ago, the high beam light has worked. It just suddenly decided to quit working, and i have no headlights.
I had to replace some suspension bushings and needed an alignment, so i asked the tech to check the fuses for me while it was at firestone. Of course, you can't trust anyone to do anything to your car. He fed me some BS about the wires that i fixed under the dash, not even knowing where i fixed the wire. He said he jiggled some random wire and had it working, but i picked up the car today and it had the same problem. Plus, i've had some problems with them lying to me. They've stripped my wheel studs before, and lied about it telling me that i did it installing my lug nuts. The only reason i go to these people is because i have lifetime alignment.
I'm going to check the fuse tomorrow, but if it isn't the fuse, what could it be?
