beader rollers? what do you use/have?
Well ive knocked out about every tool I really need and am really enjoying them. The one tool I don't have, and really need is a bead roller.
Which one do you have and use?
I have used the trick tools one and really liked it, but its a little over priced at 500$ +. So let me know how you like whichever you may have.
To anyone saying use the vise grip DIY, no thanks in advanced Haha.
Thanks, collin

Re: beader rollers? what do you use/have?
I have the bead form from kramer metal fab. If I had the option I wouldn't buy it again for the price. It does everything I need at home though for hobby work. The best one I have used was a homemade one at an industrial exhaust shop I used to work at. Had a big handle on it and it was just more rigid overall.
There are knockoffs on ebay you could try. Or make your own.
PS your work looks amazing

We use an Eagle I/O end former for production beading but by far the best for 1-20 beads:
Bead Form II, HEAVY DUTY.
Get the heavy duty shaft option. We are on our second bead form now (in 8 years) and the Heavy duty shaft option is a must.

Or maybe you could post the plans so I can try to make one myself. Do you have the CAD files for the pieces?

Re: beader rollers? what do you use/have?
I am using the "bead form 3" from Kramer metal fab. I use it to roll .065" sanitary tubing without a problem. The 3 has heat treated upper and lower shafts, and runs needle bearings.
I'm sure most home made jobs will work fine for most tubing, but the .065" SS will take its toll on mild steel shafts. If you do a lot of tubing you will like something well made.
Hope that helps!
