I also use moates Burn1. Easy to use and works perfect and looks nice... Too abd it doesn't support a vast range of chips tho

Too bad amtel has discontinued them ALL and the moates can only burn two other types of chips...one is a 512k and the other a 1024k I believe. Which means you have to go in a Hex Edit to place the Uber ROM in the appropriate position on the chip....

I like my Xtronics, the TOP2005 is nice and so is the Batronix.

powered by USB and comes with a free AT29 chip that you're going to need. (it's usually like 6-8 bucks for the chip alone)

The ostrich has a aaa battery in it to keep the most recently burned image 'emulated' constantly. So you just leave it plugged into your ecu and unplug it from your computer, and it acts as if you've just burned a chip. Then you will also be able to use the RTP features of the standalones your looking at. The Ostrich works flawlessly with Chrome, btw.

I didn't buy a burner, and I certainly have better places for 100, or even 50 dollars. Ostrich = 170 dollars well ******* spent!
