p0700 and p0730
okay guys, strangely I've had 3 friends show up at my house with the same problem on their 97,98, 99 acura 1.6EL/Civic Automatics.
I know that its a A/T problem but has anyone found a definitive fix for this particular problem? I find it weird that so many cars in about a months time has showed up with this exact issue.
A/T fluid is clean and was Genuine Hona ATF Z1 fluid. All cars have about 160, 000kms on them and they shift perfectly fine.
Solenoids on top of the transmission near the starter click when 12 volts is applied to them so I know they're not jammed or anything like that and I've also looked at the connectors near the front of the tranny and they seem fine too.
There must be a common problem here that would cause this.
Thanks

Re: (Davus)
lol, I shouldn't be drinking beer while I write posts on HT.
The problem is that I'm getting code P0700 and P0730 but the car drives and shifts fine and the fluid is clean and good.
Solenoids seem to test out fine so I don't know what the heck is wrong and why I'm getting codes P0700 and P0730.
Thanks
