Drag Wheels....Will these work
Hey guys I have a 2001 Integra Type R, was wondering if this wheel spec will work. Tire is a 24.5/8.0/15 M/T

OR
Rim Diameter (in): 15 in. Rim Width (in): 7.00 in. Backspacing (in): 4.000 in. Offset (mm): 0.00mm
Thanks

You'll want the rim at least as wide as the slick.
I think you'll be ok with the 4.5" backspacing. Someone else may know for sure.

Each slick has its specifications on what rim width is recommended to use.
Either of those wheels will actually work. The 15x8 may be a better rim to use though.

THATS LOOKS SOOOO SICK, with the slicks. I was running stock ITR wheels with my slicks, they work fine, but want something wider.
Whats the backspacing and offset on your 15x8, if you remember ?
BTW any more pics of the R?
Thanks for the input guys

Re: Drag Wheels....Will these work
The common backspacing for most Honda setups are between 4 and 5" Either should be fine, it just depends on how far you want the tire to stick out of the fender. You also have to consider the tire size you're planning to use. Of course the wider the tire(such as 9-10" wide) the more you want it away from the inside of the fender so it clears the supension parts.

Was your offset 0? Would you say you had a pretty good turning radius? I see some guys making 3 point turns at the end of the track to come back on the return line, lol

and for the hell of it, here's my R
This should be the official "Type R's on Slicks" Tread, lol

Here are some pics to give you an idea of how much the wheel sticks out of the fender.

Mine were 4.5" backspacing and yes, I was running 26x8 Goodyears. It is pretty funny how the "new" thing is running 26" tires. I was running them in 03.LOL
And yes, I have more pics:

I always ran 235/60/15 BFG's or M&H bias plys on the street. it didnt drive real bad but it didnt corner at all with the M&H.
On a side note I remember Danny's ITR from back in the day. It ran good from what I remember
