I'm not sure many people have the "bumpin' custom" set ups anymore in their civics, but this was mine for the longest time, two Kicker competition 10's and a Kenwood two channel amp. not sure if it will help but it is an idea
box I had fit perfectly between the X bar and the trunk, just enough room to close the hatch. I'm prepping for paint in the rear, I only am rocking 1 kicker comp 10" now sitting on the floor behind my driver seat

If it is really going to be a show car. I use to own
LL00UD - Honda Integra DA9
I had 4 speakers in the grille, 4 speakers in the rear bumper, 2 in the fenders.
8 inside, 4 amplifiers and 2 Kickers. Had L7's but the window eventually some how .. rattled off. So downgraded.
If you want the show car look, you need to find yourself a good fiberglass guy. Custom mounts for each speaker. Custom subwoofer box etc.
Show car spec means removing practicality, that means remove the back seat and build a huge sub box. Get yourself $50 screens mounted in the rear along side the huge subwoofers, make the subwoofers face you and not the other way round because for SQ it makes sense to have it the right way, it just looks good having it backwards. Seal your boot, DYNAMAT your WHOLE CAR!

Go with the alignment I shown above & install the amps in a false floor.
You keep trunk space, can use 3 12's properly, and Infinite Baffle is usually the best for SQ.

For a show car though i don't think the false floor is a good idea, it's a show car.. he needs the amps to show. I would say get it mounted on the sub-box. maybe between the subwoofers.
I saw one application with it on the roof and it actually looked pretty sick, but yeh.. you need to find an ideal nice looking place. If you want i could draw up a design and you could goto a fibreglass guy and get it built.
