...so, if my head is a (pr3-4) its an 'ITR' head?...right?
i went to Honda World of westminster, to see what a 'ticking' noise was, the found out it was the Lost motion, they told me my head wasnt, (what i thought it was) a B16 head, but a 'ITR' head and refured me to a "inport shop" inline four, they also also told me that it was an 'ITR' head.

If it is marked PR3-X it is either a B16 or a ITR head as they both use the same casting. Don't bother with the second #, it is not important.
The difference is in some of the parts in the head, and the fact that the ITR gets some bowl work which the B16 does not. It's not a port job, it's just the transition between the port and the valve seats that have been worked over, to improve flow as there's a ridge there on untouched heads. Also check for green paint at the back of the head behind the distributor. If both these are present then you have an ITR head. Also check if the head has dual valve springs on both intake and exhaust which also is an ITR thing.

Yes, that's why I said a PR3-X head is a B16a/ITR head. They use the same casting as already pointed out.
