Pretty sure they were all built in japan to begin with then imported over here, even my DC has a vin that starts with j. Any ls/gs/rs you find is going to have honda motor co on the valve cover also....

Its not difficult once you get the crank pulley bolt off, just take your time and double check the timing marks before you finish up.

It should slide off. Depending on your motor it'll either have a woodruff key built into the gear or it'll have one that needs to be slid in to keep the gear aligned and from spinning freely.

The camshaft seals slide right on once the cam gears are off, just make sure you clean off all the oil around there. Also make sure the inner part of the seal where the spring is doesn't turn inside...

Clutch maybe, internals for 300hp no. If you intend on launching it every chance you get and beating on it 24/7 then build it, if not the motor should be fine as long as its been taken care of.
