Honestly i really dont know the person that i bought it from took out the hondata and put in p28..******* right? it might not even b chipped but im pretty sure it is... i was thinking just buy stock ecu and plug it in but ill have to drive the car for 50-100 miles for everything to reset though right? and will that b healthy to do running with everything untuned? probably cant b much worse than it is now right?

at the VERY least go to your local tuner/shop and ask for a basemap as close to your set up as you can get. I would not go putting a stock ECU on a boosted set up...get a new ECU while you're at it that p28 was probs his old back up. Even running on a basemap is not "good" the idea of a base map is so you can drive the car to get properly dyno tuned. above all spent the $4-500 and get ir properly tuned

Theres no point in buying a stock ecu to try and reset it the motor will run rich no matter how many times you reset it.

Stock ecu wont run the car if it has injectors bigger than 310cc I think it was. Unscrew the top cover of the ecu you have and see if its chipped. Buying a basemap for the meantime is cheaper than an entire ecu. But dont expect to be able to beat on the car and have it perform 100% with a basemap.
