When you jumped the OBD1 port, did you jump it with the ignition off and then turn the key to on? Or vise versa?

Sounds like you may have air trapped in the cooling system. Try "burping" it and see what happens. If that doesn't work, you may have bad temp sensors. Also, make sure all your electrical connectors...

Dude you need to remove the timing belt cover and inspect the shaft seals, there are about half a dozen seals under there.

The parts counter guys only tell you they're "pre-gapped", I always check the gap before installing plugs and make sure it's in specs with what the label under the hood says for good measure.

If it has vacuum and coming straight out of the block I'd say it's supposed to connect to something. Does your car have the vacuum asssist rear motor mount? That would probably the nearest thing...

Thanks KD, this is pretty much what I figured it was. Then, while browsing the forums I heard of people having issues with solinoids and what not when the D4 light went out, got me kinda worried...

Sounds like excess carbon build up.. could be a number of things: Improper spark plug gap, running too rich, or you have oil leaking into the combustion chambers. Are the plugs a wet black or a dry...

I wouldn't recommend using paint unless you want to block out the light completely and just have nice shiny yellow lenses to look at.

Yellow tinting, however, may be a viable option for you to...
