The one that will fit is from Honda CR-V (check what years in the beginning of the thread!).
You will need also filter frame from CR-V and some kind of frame seal.

I replaced my ISB (if you remember my thread). I put Honda MTF.

I have both manuals (92-95) and (96-00) and they say use Honda MTF (use 10W30 if MTF not...

Check your vacuum hoses.




Check out some video on youtube - "How to drive stick shift".
You always need to push the gas pedal to begin moving with stick shift.
There is no such thing as...

Got the same clutch from ebay. Works great.
Change your clutch and forget about it.
My old clutch looked far from worn but with the new one is like night and day.
If your old disk looks fine...

I would use Valvoline Synpower.

If you don't drive hard it doesn't matter doe.

I know guy here on honda-tech that ruined his engine (H22) with Mobile 1 - 5W30, but he was racing on the track....

When the car is already moving it's easy for the clutch, but when standing and want to move is the hardest task for the clutch.

I just took out the glove box and found out that my '98 Civic LX has the slot for the filter. I will order it soon and will find a frame from a junk yard or the dealer.

Running with no thermostat is the most ridiculous thing a've ever heard. :thumbdown:

Your engine gets slower to its operating temp. in the summer, and in the winter cannot reach it at all.

Are they Bosch too?

I would never put anything Bosch to a Japanese car.
Use NGK or Denso!

I had bad battery few weeks ago before I bought Honda 100 month battery, but before that I jumped the car for two weeks, and yes I had bad, very low idle.

It continued after I put the new battery...
