just tried it and the CEL light came on for a moment when i turned the key in the ignition

So no. there is not a CEL


also fixed the tailight problem, it was a faulty turn signal switch arm...

speedo works occasionally and occasionally it flutters and jumps all over the place but mostly it just reads 0 mph. have no idea why

car has died 4 times now and each time after pulling and moving the wires on the dizzy, the car would start up like nothing happened

But i cant replicate the problem pulling and jiggling the wires...

driver side halfshaft wont go into diff

I just picked up my new halfshaft this morning and tried to install it (1990 CRX SI ED9)

the inner end went about halfway in and it wont go any farther, am i just not strong enough to puch it in...

i figure a new shaft will run me 60 and i can sell my old one for 30 and a new boot costs 25 it just seems easier to buy a new one

my thinking was if it was the rack that it would run or drip down onto the cv and get flung on the the firewall

where is there grease that would be dripping on to the drive shaft, since it would have to drip onto the drive shaft in order to appear on the firewall
