For the money, I'd rather build a Vitara D-series and turbo it. But if you're stuck on H22, there's no way of getting over 300whp reliable without spending thousands.

I had this exact same setup on my Del Sol, sounded deep and quiet. Loved it and it didn't have the BWWAAAAHHHH typical Honda sound

Does it smoke on startup after sitting a while? That would be a sign of valve seals...

It doesn't sound too bad, I'd wait for it to get worse before worrying about it so you can have better signs...

Just do your research. H22A4 have FRM cylinder sleeves...you need to either get press-in liners or resleeve the motor in order to run most aftermarket pistons. Mahle made a piston that works but...
