Icon2 ex sedan exhaust

hola techies

my sedan needs an exhaust but I can't find a reasonable one for it. Its a 1990 ex sedan. I really wanna throw down 600 for the skunk2 goodies but that's just not in the cards for me right now. So my question is will a hatch cat back fit my sedan? I really don't want to but ebay has some cheap *** exhaust package with the headers all the way back for 60 dollars. I'm not looking for anything special just yet. I just need it to work unlike my current busted *** muffler. This is the link

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-91...ht_3668wt_1035

it will work and solve my issue I'm all over it as a temp fix. Thanks

why not just pick up a new oval magnaflow muffler and some custom piping from your local muffler shop for less than $200 installed...!!!

well if it is longer it would make sense that the mid pipe would have a diff ,length and the rest would be identical but I'm obviously not sure

What I have done in the past for my son's friend is taken a eBay CRX exhaust kit and just extended it after the resonator/right before the gas tank bend and where the fart can sits. I can't recall the measurements but I can assure you it works flawlessly. I am not sure if the hatchback would work out the same but it may.

Dude. 2.25-2.5 inch custom bent pipe with advanced auto turbo thrush muffler. Dont be the guy who sounds like a pack of angry bees when he passes. The turbo thrush muffler is like 30 bucks and has a deep throaty tone. Ive put that muffler on my last like 4 civics. The shops in virginia and in pensacola charge less than 180 for custom piping including a flex pipe. Dont go ebay cus they sound liike ****

I'm gonna hit up some local shops tomorrow and see wut I can get. All else fails tho I'll just put a ga tech sticker on there and say I did that on purpose haha
and thanks for the advice never satisfied in case I do have to go ebay

On my old '91si I went the cheap route and bought one of the slightly more expensive eBay ones, I was running stock manifold & cat with an intake and it sounded great I was sooo supprised. Not to mention if you picked one up and was unlucky to have that shiet sound to it just add a resonator or a different muffler and your still spending less than most exhaust shops will charge for a good custom set up and you'd have all stainless piping. Thats what I'd do on a tight budget or as you say temporarily.
Only thing about the eBay one is the muffler hit speed bumps etc but my car was lowered about 2.5" so I assume anything would have.

THIS!!!!!!!

I had this exact same setup on my Del Sol, sounded deep and quiet. Loved it and it didn't have the BWWAAAAHHHH typical Honda sound

gentleman's I appreciate the input. I checked the my local shops and they want arms legs and first born for a simple setup so ebay it is for a little while.

but I'll be going bwaaaaaaaaa with some custom goodies and a decent exhaust manifold in no time. I'll be sure to let you all know how it fits and post up some pics of my new work in progress

I bought this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Acura...#ht_4918wt_987 and it doesnt sound like a weed wacker going down the road. It sounds just like the tanabe concept exhaust for our cars.

Edit: And it fit my sedan with no modification to anything but the piping on the cat but i also have an ls and an aftermarket 90-91 integra exhaust manifold.
