Re: 2002 Civic EX White 95K Miles - for $4200 -- good deal?

Be aware that the car has 95k miles on it, which means it is due for timing belt service which will set you back ~$600+ at a shop. If the seller didn't do it, use this as a chance to haggle.

Re: Newbee buyer - Mechanical question

Look for coolant flush service, these cars are known to have head gasket issues if not flushed regularly.

Re: Ideal header and exhaust setup?

That included parts and labor. Was made an offer for a used sedan LX exhaust, might consider it depending on price. Is OEM LX muffler interchangeable on EX exhaust, how much of a downgrade would it...

Ideal header and exhaust setup?

The stock muffler has broken off the car last week, was quoted approximately $350 for a new muffler. If the car was stock I would consider it, but since I have Stage 1 cam installed I see this as a...

Re: Air Outlet in Civic 2002

If that is damaged, you will have water leaking into the trunk of the car. I had to reseal mine since the original one wore out and I had a pool of water with the spare tire.

Re: EX Civic Stalls in Neutral

Good thing you solved the problem, I suggest using fuel system cleaner to clean engine internals. If it was really bad I recommend using Seafoam when you are due for your next oil change.
