Not to thread jack, but if it goes away when the clutch is pushed in it is not the throw out bearing.

I had a really good experience with www.theretrofitsource.com. They sell a full kit for pretty cheap and have excellent customer service Matt will help you with any questions you have. Great company....

I'm not sure what you are saying, but there should be about 1" of free play at the pedel. That could be your problem rather than the fork its self.
