Not to thread jack, but if it goes away when the clutch is pushed in it is not the throw out bearing.

Itr brakes and use that five lug. Hunt down some cool JDM options. There is alot of things that can be done.

I'm not sure what you are saying, but there should be about 1" of free play at the pedel. That could be your problem rather than the fork its self.
