Re: TRX450R

I have dealt with this. I found the throttle position sensor was the issue. I disconnected it and got much better stability on idle. Of course replacement is the best solution. The TPS is a pricey...

Re: 91 CRX Si getting 98 DC4 upgrade?

Yes I will post pics as I go. The CRX is my daily driver right now. I am preparing my Sierra to fill in during transformation. It will likely be a drawn out process.

Re: 91 CRX Si getting 98 DC4 upgrade?

Thx for the input 4drEF! I am not sure just how far the ref will look. I am aware of the pressure sensor in tank. I have not fully investigated that angle. One thought was to integrate the sensor in...

Re: ef ac questions

Another word of advice. You should replace the reciever/drier also. It has a desicant that absorbs moisture in the system. Once moisture is absorbed it is not released. It only takes 45 minutes of...

Re: 91 CRX Si getting 98 DC4 upgrade?

I am in Cali and have smog laws to comply with or pay even higher prices for false testing and risk getting caught in roadside... would like for the car to be legal and OBD2 diagnostics are easier to...

91 CRX Si getting 98 DC4 upgrade?

I know this will sound a little crazy. Yet that is how I roll... I have a 91 CRX Si, currently sporting D16A8 Rover engine. I also have a 98 Teg sporting B20Z that was hit hard last month... total....

Re: Plug my oil squirters or modify them? B18c1 Problem with Wiseco Pistons

Such a heated debate :o)
After better than 30 years of building ICE's (internal combustion engines) it is my opinion that piston oilers are not necessary, yet desirable. The purpose is to cool the...

TRX450R

I know this is likely out of the norm here. I would like to ask if anyone has dealt or has knowledge of the matter. I have an '04 TRX450R that the idle will not remain stable. I adjust the set screw...

Re: oil in my engine bay .. best way to clean ?

Simple Green works... Purple power kicks a$$ on cleaning oil and grease! Best on warm (not hot) engine, spray it on and let it soak a few minutes then pressure wash or use a pressure nozzle on your...

After reading your last post last night, Google brought me to Crome. And this post put a little more light on the subject. Already have downloaded...

Re: HHO Conversion.... Does it work?

This is the concept I was leaning towards. I know that stoichiometric target in recent years for new vehicles has been 16:1 and is working well with the new technology of intake and exhaust timing...

Re: HHO Conversion.... Does it work?

The first thing to understand is that we are not discussing a "conversion". To run on straight HHO would require a massive system that would draw huge amounts of energy to operate. I am only...

Re: 90 crx si

Looks good! I would have recommended the Purple Power up front. that stuff is great for cutting grease and dirt! Use a pressure washer after spraying and a little scrubbing for some dynamite results....

Re: HHO Conversion.... Does it work?

Ok, I understand the O2 plays the biggest factor... why did I not get better results with the EFIE? I set it to put 0.45v floating in the circuit and the end result was the same as when it was set at...

Re: HHO Conversion.... Does it work?

Hi,

I first looked at this thread to see if I could find some info. As with many posts on this subject I have found a lot of people that disclaim any benefit from the system. I can relate to...
