It could be possible that your axle is not full installed into the transmission. It will still drive fine, but may need to be 'clicked' in further.

the axle seal could STILL be leaking, but maybe it's not the seal and maybe it's the axle shaft itself that has worn where it rides on the seal.
remove the axle and inspect the sealing surface....

intake, air and exhaust would make it mildly more entertaining...
D-series are pretty much useless unless you strap a turbo on it.

I would think that your feed will most likely be 1/8 NPT.
But it would help to know what turbo you are running, and what 'oil line kit' you are talking about.

^^^definately could be the alternator.
Also, it may be something like a loose battery cable or ignition switch wiring.
Does the car start when you try boosting it?

It actually is very possible for the switch to just 'go out like that'.
Or it could be your wiper motor. get a wiring diagram and start learnin' how to use a test light. Good luck

is your key loose or does the lock tumbler feel worn?
try wiggling your key around while in the crank position and see if you can find a 'sweet spot'.
