hey guys i need help wiring a d16y8.. ok heres the full story my buddy bought a blown up 96 ex coupe for 1200 mint not major body damage or rust, just has a blown up motor no biggie we have a built y8 to drop in it. heres the thing the car came with a y7 non vtech the kid musta blown it upbefore and put this in and he said he could not get it to run so we riped it out and we are putting in the y8 we removed the whole harness and ecu. like i said we were wiring the y8 up and there is this one plug in the back that dose not plug in to anything all the others are pluged into where thay go i have some pics of the plug and where it branches off of could somone tell me what it goes to and or what its for somone told me maby power steering or the AC all that has been remmoved so there are no plugs for it on the firewall.

secondary o2 sensor plug..??

its not air temp that one is kinda egg shaped this one is round but it might be one of the o2 sensors ill find out sunday when i put it in and it throws a code for somthing lol if it fires, it should

edit: squash that i dont think its the secondary o2 because the front o2 is like egg shaped aswell unless the secondary one is round here is a pic of what the plug looks like

i slaped the motor in today pretty much by my self we dident have a cherry picker so we picked it up from the inside thats the only thing i got help with, took a few hrs motor runs strong no check eng lights and no idle problems. so that wire had nothing to do with anything. only thing we need to do now and fill the tranny up with fluid and putt a different throttle cable bracket on. the one that was in there was a y7 and we need a y8 cable . or cable bracket. but all went well.... which never happens
