Re: Diagnosing a bad ecu?

Solid CEL is definitely bad ECU or bad chip. I also notice IC14 is blank. Thats for VTEC. Basically the ECU is non VTEC and useless to your setup if you're running VTEC.

re: 00 civic Hatchback dx - metal to metal sound

Is the car lowered? Is it rear drum or disc in the rear? If it sounds like metal on metal then chances it is. You should be able to find the wear mark somewhere.

If it started after the...

What feels like its slipping? The clutch? You can just upgrade your clutch and pressure plate but you'll wanna get the flywheel resurfaced. I don't run lightweights I find they fall out of boost...

Re: 1995 Civic revs to 6k rpm on start (video)

Vacuum leak. Didn't hook something most likely. If it revs really high like this guy is has to be big enough like that hole you see in his intake manifold. Did you rebolt the IACV to the back of the...

Re: help with ignition timing!!!

Sorry this is meant to bring the idle down to 750. Alot of cars I see these days with intake mods ect seem to be idling a bit high, so usually unplugging the IACV brings it right around 750.

Re: Dumb question but a good one

Agreed. All of these will make a difference. Go and take both intake pipes off and rev them up open throttle body. Hopefully you don't suck some dirt in ;)

Re: d to b manifold question

OBD1 or OBD2? Both can be used. Might be different for OBD0.
