i work at a honda dealer myself ive herd them so loud it sounds like rod knock but usually once they warm up there fine. id take it in a average tech should b able to do it in 30 mins. i would assume...

i did 13.2 @105 1.9 60ft. 24x9.2r15 slicks swapped to a plm bisi knockoff header never tuned it for the header. gonna get some skunk2 tunner 2 cams. also i have blown struts on drop springs everyone...

just put it back in its not a big deal mine lost a chunk bigger then that and mine grabed fine when i placed it back in. if it isnt broke why take it apart

your rod could be hitting the side of the cyl wall u may have to notch it out a **** hair

ur pistons are prolly hitting ur head becuase u may have incorect rod piston crank combo check and see how much its hangin out the hole

the knuckle could be hiting the spring had that happen when i decided to lower my crx allot and use allot of camber to have wheel clearence ended up cutting this nib off the nuckle and its ben fine...

also u mite want to note is plastic body filler expands when it gets hot when sanding it and when u do ur work it may feel level but a few mins later itl be low. also when fether edge u wanna go down...

when i first started my build ppl were tellin me i was smokin crack and that it wont last ive had mine 7 months and it gets beat on hard but i keep up my maintenance religiously and always check...

Could be the thrust warshes on the crank or that maybe your block was align honed and you didn't check the oil rotor to crank shaft clearence just som things to try

A 1in impact gun never failed me but before I used to buy a tool from honda specificly made for hondas to hold it steady and use a 5ft breakerbar.

b20b4 block bored to 85mm (2020cc) align honed
rs machine pistons
stock rods with arp bolts re sized big end

Did you just buy the syncro cuz if so the syncro collar and sleeve may be groved causing the syncro to catch and cause symptoms ur discribing and the gear. Somtimes u can get away with just a synco...
